AB Equipment has its headquarters in East Tamaki, Auckland. From this location, the Company operates a complete, fully owned network of branches and dealers throughout New Zealand. AB Equipment sell and rent new and used equipment and provide the all important local area base for the provision of customer support program’s which, in many cases, have become the standard by which all others are judged.

About AB Equipment
AB Equipment was established in 1983 to service the needs of the Material Handling and Construction Equipment markets. In 2003, we extended our market participation by entering the Transport Industry.
A Measure of our success can be seen by the number of world leading equipment manufactures who have appointed and partnered with us to distribute their products in New Zealand. More importantly, these manufacturers recognise our ability to provide owners of their products with outstanding levels of customer support.
As part of our planned expansion of services to the Material Handling, Transport and Construction Equipment markets. We have developed from very small beginnings in 1983 to being the largest solely owned forklift rental and construction equipment company in New Zealand. Today a large number of New Zealand’s premier companies are our rental customers.
With our headquarters in East Tamaki, Auckland, we operate a complete, fully owned network of branches throughout New Zealand. We sell, rent new and used equipment and provide the all important local base for the provision of customer support programmes which, in many cases, have become the standard by which all others are judged.
These programmes include Planned Maintenance, Unplanned Maintenance, Major Overhauls and Refurbishment, Operator Training, and Total Fleet Management.
